Sunday, February 26, 2012, Academy President Tom Sherak announced today. The
ceremony will again take place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland
Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network.
A 90-minute red carpet show will immediately precede the ceremony
FULL OSCAR STORY:It was a good move to engrave the Oscar statues the night the winners are revealed because it's time to announce plans for next year's show.
That's right, Tom Sherak, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has announced today (April 25) that Sunday, Feb. 26, the show will again air on ABC. It was also noted that a 90-minute red carpet show will be included, just like the show
in March. Meanwhile, the show will once again call the Kodak Theater, Hollywood and Highland, home of the show.
