Bonehead Tip of the Day: You want to celebrate something so you gather with others and release those balloons. That was fun. Now look at all those balloons wreak havoc on telephone lines, etc. Then take a bottle with a message in it and toss it in the ocean. No problem there if one person does it, I suppose. But how about hundreds?

Trivia: Those wagons on their way west seldom rode in a straight line. Not to avoid attacks but rather the dust. many rode miles apart because of all that dust. It wasn't until the 19th century when "fossil" meant a relic or trace of past life preserved in rock. Before that it simply meant any object dug out of the earth. Yes, any object. Way back when (or then) Sam Adams lost that brewery business. The bill of a pelican can hold more chow than its belly. Belly? Oh well, let's just call it that for now.
Closer: I tried to watch "Fringe" the other night but it was too dark. No, not the storyline. the lighting was too dark, and that sounds like an oxymoron. "The X Files" had the same habit.
