After looking at what was going to cut and shut, I am still wondering why we do fund all that crap...I could use some funding but never get any...or asked, for that matter.
I say we leave the teachers alone and go after the salaries of the politicians - -let's make them part-time workers...
Friday dump. How about a shutdown? I WILL LEAVE THIS STUFF UP FOR THE WEEKEND BECAUSE MY FRIENDS IN MEDIA ON THE WRONG SIDE ONCE AGAIN...THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE MAJORITY OF THE PUBLIC CARES ABOUT. WHEN THEY Do THEY RIP US APART. STAY TUNED! Media will surely focus on 1995 shutdown (think about it), but there has been 17 shutdowns since 1977. It cost me 30 bucks to do my FREE online taxes...HUH? It was free to fill it out but cost me to file it. While the media continues to pound those who want cuts and curtail spending, they are quietly doing the same to their employees and companies.
DISCLAIMER: I have no monkey in the race because I do not watch any of the cable news or the network stuff. Why? I do not have to. I have my own service and report my own stuff as well. However, Glenn Beck leaving got the "We got you" mantra but yet, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer and Merideth Viera, are leaving, too. What gives? Jeff Greenfield is out at CBS, too. Who is next? Does anybody remember the mess with Dan Rather?
HAVE YOU NOTICED ALREADY: Shut up about the shutdown. Here's my take...because the media keeps pushing the problems and the negative effects of the "partial" shutdown, it may actually hurt them. We do not trust the majority of that reporting anyway, and now, we really get to see their agenda take hold. I'm noticing the things we fund and wonder why we are and the public will, too. So, media, be careful when trying to prove your point. You have been on the wrong side of public opinion for years now. Welfare folk get paid but not military, for example. Congress and the president still get paid. Oh boy, I cannot go to a park. Sure, you were going to. Yet, the president is heading on yet another site-seeing tour this weekend. Lighten up MSM. The real people working and toiling away day to day are not paying attention to the stupid games. We have real life to take care of, thank you. Even if that means escaping the bull crap from you guys.
AOL has ruined Huffington Post, MSNBC is terrible, while CNN continues to implode. All the while, George Soros owns the left. So, complain about Rupert Murdoch if you want but be fair, and do the same to Soros. Huckabee Rips Lazy Reporters, Partisan Sources
THE HILL: DID YOU GET THIS? The fundraising email, penned by DCCC Chairman Steve Israel (N.Y.), went out late Wednesday and asks for small donations to the committee's "GOP Accountability Fund," setting a goal of raising $50,000 by Friday "so we can hold Speaker Boehner and his Tea Party fringe Republicans immediately accountable for shutting down the government." Dems raise money off threat of gov't shutdown...
