Sept. 8 Presidential Address vs.
Packers/Saints NFL Opener: Who Ya' Got? (Poll)
8.31.11 - 8:33 p.m. - President changes date of speech to Sept. 8..GOP debate on NBC stays Sept. 7. Bad PR move and stunt on both sides...looks and sounds stupid...but, Pres. and Congress and
jobs? Come on..9.1.11. Let's hope talk shows do not waste too much time on this crap as it was hashed about last night for many of us all over the web: Green Bay does play on Sept. 8: How about a Labor Day speech for this one about jobs? Partisan Fight Leads
Obama To Move Date Of Speech (Politico)...protocol
is to do this behind the scenes before announcing any date (so this doesn't happen)...and to be honest, will will know what is in the speech today...or very soon. We already know some...need a break from the above? Faith and Inspiration show 10 a.m.-Noon, AM 1240 WSDR and rockriverradio.com
Wow, now NBC and NFL want speech moved, or at least not to interfere with game...0-2..the PR team should have looked at all of this. That is their job and they made the president look like

8.26.11 - Another Friday Dump is here and are we not getting a bit tired of the weekly job numbers? Who the heck decided they needed to be hashed out every single week. Before we head to the BO for the weekend, I have been watching reruns of "All in the Family"
and this time around I find Meathead to be real annoying. See, growing up we were tauight that we all should hate Archie. That was shoved down our throats and by media critics and pundits. Meathead is a bonehead, let's face it.
8.29.11 - Let's wrap this puppy for the weekend BO. With mandatory evacuations when there probably should not have been, it wrecked the box office. Then, in some states, high school football kicked off and surely dented it as well. But, as we noted Friday, that should help "The Help." That movie has legs and is a perfect movie for those not affected by sports, or even a disaster here and there. Although a weak weekend,
it's still No. 1 - - again.
1. "The Help" - $14 million
2. "Colombiana" - $10.3 million
3. "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" - $8 million
Notes: Weak, it was.
