'Gravity' defies again while '12 Years a Slave' impresses LIKE THIS ARTICLE

So far the hype is matching the results for the now three-time box office winner "Gravity." The take for the weekend was $31 million leaving the remake of "Carrie" in a space trail with $17 million.
But now that hype is also making some utter, "it is not what I thought it would be" or they expected it to be much more. That is to be expected as this film is now firmly entrenched in Oscar best picture talk. It is now just a matter of how many nominations it will get.

The Red Cross wants video games to incorporate the Geneva ConventionApproximately 600 million video-gamers worldwide may be violating the laws of war – at least virtually. For the past two years, a unit of the ICRC has been working on discouraging video game creators from allowing players to disregard the rules of war – that is, disregard the rules of war while playing a video game, not in real life -- without consequences. ICRC calls for gamers to be “rewarded for respecting the law of armed conflict and there should be virtual penalties for serious violations of the law of armed conflict, in other words war crimes.”
