Now, look at the mobs that turn to crime and violence...just a matter of time..and smoking outside soon to be done...when we go green and save all that money, ComEd, etc., will no longer be making that money so we will get charged somewhere else to make up for it...sure, right now it's free or saves us...so did TV, cable, etc...now look...they have to make up for it somewhere...you will not be able to slap a solar panel on the house without something...no, not right away...how about a fee yearly to use the sun, wind and rain...? - Speaking of political, the Cannes doc reaction will be fun to watch. We get the story the media ignored, or were told to, when covering the oil spill...yes, media was kept away and shunned all over during the spill and recovery...
HUMAN EVENTS -
The GOP race is finally taking shape. Finally.
This weekend, Herman Cain announced before a crowd of over 10,000 people in Atlanta.
And Mitch Daniels bowed out of the presidential contest.
Jon Huntsman went on a tour of New Hampshire, and perhaps he can
occupy the space left by Daniels—among independents and those in the mainstream media.
Today, Tim Pawlenty announces for president and his strategy will be to offend nobody but cobble together a coalition of Republicans to win the nomination.
He admitted, though, that he could not compete with Mitt Romney
in terms of raising money. Romney will have the money to build a dynamic organization even though he will give off the impression of having a lean one. Pawlenty, as of now, probably has the best new media team and a campaign manager in Nick Ayers who has had the most success in the last two years in bringing the Republican Party back while he was at the Republican Governor's Association.
And then, of course, there are two other storylines. Can Newt Gingrich get
off the mat and go the distance regardless if he wins?
And, of course,
there's Sarah Palin, who can essentially freeze the field and change the dynamic
of 2012 with one tweet or announcement. She has recently said that she has the
“fire in the belly” to run but still remains coy and undecided on whether she
will seek the presidency in 2012. — Tony Lee
